The SharePoint AD Self Service will provides a SharePoint active directory web part that allow current login user to see and modify his/her own Active Directory information through SharePoint. You can add this web part to a page, on which you want users to edit their AD information, and configure it properly. After that, when a user log in and enter this page, the SharePoint AD Self Service web part will automatically detect current login user and domain, then retrieve his/her information from Active Directory to SharePoint and show them in this SharePoint active directory web part.
