WOD Programmer was written by a West Point Decathlete, fitness writer, and former lead trainer a deployed Military Affiliate to create custom workouts for athletes everywhere so they can progress more rapidly. Using WOD Programmer the athlete enters the length of their training cycle, equipment they have available, days they want to train on, exercise and scheme priorities, and duration of workouts and all of that information is built into a custom workout cross training calendar based upon the Crossfit Programming Template.

Athletes can also track and graph results and time all types of workouts including AMRAPs, Tabatas, and each minute on the minute WODs.
